Electric hoist is a special lifting equipment installed on overhead cranes (electric single beam bridge cranes) and gantry cranes (electric hoist gantry cranes). Electric hoists have the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, and convenient use, and are used in industrial and mining enterprises, storage yards, and other places. Electric hoists are used in situations with small lifting capacity, usually using the winch trolley mode for lifting conditions greater than 25t.
The lifting capacity of an electric hoist is generally 0.1-80 tons (the most commonly used specifications are 2t, 5t, 10t, 20t, 25t, etc.), and the lifting height is 3-30 meters. It is divided into two types: wire rope electric hoist and loop chain electric hoist. The wire rope electric hoist consists of an electric motor, a transmission mechanism, a lifting device (drum/wire rope/hook), and a running mechanism (wall plate wheels).
Electric hoists can be divided into single speed lifting CD type, dual speed lifting MD type, and variable frequency speed regulation NZ type according to the lifting speed mode.
The electric hoist used on the double beam bridge crane adopts the European style hoist trolley style (NZS type).
