Maintenance of lifting straps:
1. The soft ring should not be connected to any device that can cause damage to it.
2. When moving lifting straps and goods, they should not be dragged.
3. It should not be knotted.
4. When carrying, it should not be twisted.
5. Unjacketed lifting straps should not be used to carry goods with sharp corners or edges.
6. The opening angle of the soft ring should be avoided to exceed 20 °.
7. If several lifting straps are required to be used simultaneously, the load should be evenly distributed.
8. The lifting strap should be stored in a dark and UV free condition.
9. Lifting straps should not be stored near open flames or other heat sources.
10. When not in use, the lifting strap should be placed on the rack.
Scrapping standards for lifting belts:
1. Rope cut, severed, severely scratched, loose or partially ruptured
2. The surface fibers of the rope are severely worn, with local rope diameters becoming thinner or any strand being worn to one-third of the original rope strand
3. The twist length of the rope increases.
4. The internal strands of the rope are broken, with residual fibers or fiber particles.
5. Fibers soften or age, with rough surfaces that can easily peel off, resulting in reduced elasticity and strength.
6. Severe bending or twisting.
7. Excessive dot like looseness and corrosion on the surface of the rope.
8. Moldy and deteriorated ropes, acid and alkali burns, hot melting or scorching.
9. Damaged splices: rope strands pulled out, cable eye damaged.
10. Scrapped ropes shall not be repaired or reused.
